BLACK OUT TAPE(for Front Door) REMOVAL

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE

  1. PRECAUTION

    Note:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH LH

  4. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL

  5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR ASSIST GRIP COVER LH

  6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH

  7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  8. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH

  9. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH

  10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  11. REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS RUN LH

  12. REMOVE FRONT DOOR BELT MOULDING ASSEMBLY LH

  13. REMOVE FRONT DOOR WEATHERSTRIP LH

  14. REMOVE DOOR WINDOW FRAME MOULDING CLIP

  15. REMOVE FRONT DOOR WINDOW REAR FRAME MOULDING LH

  16. REMOVE NO. 1 BLACK OUT TAPE LH

    Tip:

    When removing the No. 1 black out tape, heat the frontdoor panel and No. 1 black out tape using a heat light.

    Note:

    Do not heat the front door panel or No. 1 black out tape excessively.

    1. Pull back an edge of the No. 1 black out tape and pull it parallel to the front door panel to remove it.
