Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.
REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:
for Separate Seat Type:
REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY
REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Cushion)
Operate the rear seat cushion lock hook release lever and pull up the rear seat cushion assembly LH to detach the hook.

Detach the 2 hooks and rear seat cushion assembly LH.
REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Seat Cushion)
Tech Tips
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.
REMOVE UPPER BACK PANEL GARNISH
Detach the 4 claws and 5 clips and remove the upper back panel garnish.
REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
Remove the 2 bolts.
Lift up the rear seatback assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow to detach the 2 hooks from the vehicle body. Then remove the rear seatback assembly.
Note
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
REMOVE LOWER BACK PANEL GARNISH
Detach the 6 claws, 2 guides and 5 clips and remove the lower back panel garnish.
REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

Put protective tape around the front door scuff plate.
Using a moulding remover, detach the 4 clips and 8 claws and remove the front door scuff plate.
REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for RHD)
Tech Tips
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH (for LHD)
Remove the part of the front door opening trim attached to the cowl side trim board.
Remove the clip.
Detach the 2 clips and remove the cowl side trim board.
REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH (for RHD)
Tech Tips
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
REMOVE QUARTER INSIDE TRIM BOARD LH
Remove the bolt and disconnect the front seat outer belt floor anchor.
Remove the part of the front door opening trim attached to the quarter inside trim board.
Detach the 4 claws, 3 guides and 7 clips and remove the quarter inside trim board.
REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY
Partially remove the floor carpet.
Tech Tips
It is not necessary to fully remove the floor carpet. Partially remove it so that the lock control cable can be removed in a later step.
REMOVE REAR NO. 1 WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Over Fender)
w/ Mudguard:

Put protective tape around the No. 1 rear wheel opening extension.
Remove the 5 screws.
w/o Mudguard:

Put protective tape around the No. 1 rear wheel opening extension.
Remove the 8 screws.
Detach the 11 clips and remove the No. 1 rear wheel opening extension.
Remove the 11 clips from the vehicle body.
REMOVE REAR WHEEL HOUSE LINER LH
Partially remove the liner.
Tech Tips
It is not necessary to fully remove the liner. Partially remove it so that the lock control cable can be removed in a later step.
REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
for LHD:
Remove the fuel lid lock open lever.
Remove the grommet from the vehicle body.
Detach the cable from the clamps shown in the illustration.

Turn the fuel filler opening lid lock retainer counterclockwise and remove the fuel lid lock control cable from the fuel filler opening lid lock retainer.
for RHD:
Remove the fuel lid lock open lever.
Remove the grommet from the vehicle body.
Detach the cable from the clamps shown in the illustration.

Turn the fuel filler opening lid lock retainer counterclockwise and remove the fuel lid lock control cable from the fuel filler opening lid lock retainer.
REMOVE FUEL FILLER OPENING LID LOCK RETAINER
Turn the fuel filler opening lid lock retainer clockwise and remove the fuel filler opening lid lock retainer as shown in the illustration.
