THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

   1. 

      Disconnect the oil vapor re-induction hose from the air cleaner case sub-assembly.

   2. Remove the bolt.

   3. Loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner case sub-assembly.

2. REMOVE THROTTLE WITH MOTOR BODY ASSEMBLY

   1. 

      Disconnect the throttle with motor body assembly connector.

   2. Remove the 4 bolts and throttle with motor body assembly from the intake manifold.

      Note:

      If the throttle with motor body assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

3. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY GASKET

   1. 

      Remove the throttle body gasket from the intake manifold.
