REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY(for Sedan) ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

CAUTION:

Be sure to follow the correct removal and installation procedures of the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH.

PROCEDURE

  1. INSPECT REAR SEAT INNER WITH CENTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Vehicle not Involved in Collision)

    1. Visually check for defects with the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH installed on the vehicle.

      1. The defects to be checked are as follows:

        • Cuts on the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH

        • Small cracks on the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH

        • Significant discoloration on the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH

        OK

        No defects are found.

        Tip:

        If any of the defects are found, replace the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH with a new one.

  2. INSPECT REAR SEAT INNER WITH CENTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Vehicle Involved in Collision)

    1. Visually check for defects with the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH removed from the vehicle.

      1. The defects to be checked are as follows:

        • Cuts on the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH

        • Small cracks on the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH

        • Significant discoloration on the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH

        • Cracks or other damage to the connector

        OK

        No defects are found.

        Tip:

        If any of the defects are found, replace the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH with a new one.
