VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE (for EGR Cut)


    1. Install the vacuum switching valve to the manifold stay with the screw.

      Torque:
      3.5 N*m  { 36 kgf*cm, 31 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL VACUUM TRANSMITTING HOSE ASSEMBLY

      Install the vacuum transmitting hose shown in the illustration.

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 VACUUM TRANSMITTING HOSE ASSEMBLY

      Install the No. 2 vacuum transmitting hose to the vacuum switching valve shown in the illustration.

  4. INSTALL MANIFOLD STAY WITH VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE


    1. A01DXUZ

      Install the manifold stay with vacuum switching valve with the 2 bolts and connect the vacuum transmitting hose.

      Torque:
      19 N*m  { 194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Be sure to securely connect the vacuum transmitting hose.

    2. A01DZIGE01

      Connect the 2 vacuum transmitting hoses.

      Note


      • Be sure to securely connect the vacuum transmitting hoses.

      • Make sure the vacuum transmitting hoses' color matches the connection areas' color.

    3. Connect the vacuum switching valve connector.
