ECD SYSTEM(for Swirl Control Valve), Diagnostic DTC:P1093
| DTC Code | DTC Name |
|---|---|
| P1093 | Rail Pressure Raw Value is Intermittent |
DESCRIPTION
The ECM monitors the internal fuel pressure of the common rail using the fuel pressure sensor, and controls the fuel quantity control valve to regulate the internal pressure to the target pressure. The pressure sensor is a semiconductor that varies electrical resistance when pressure is applied to its silicon chip.
This sensor outputs the voltage in proportion to the internal fuel pressure.

Difference of fuel pressure sensor pressure value continuously monitored every 0.01 seconds exceeds 200 bar (200000 kPa) or more 5 times in 3 seconds. (3 trip detection logic) |

Refer to DTC P0192 (Click here).
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
When replacing the ECM, the ECM needs Registration and Initialization (Click here).
When the ECM must be replaced, before replacing the ECM, perform the "Learning Values Save" function using the GTS. Then after installing the new ECM, perform all of the initialization/registrations for the "Learning Values Write" function by following the instructions shown on the GTS display.
Read freeze frame data using the GTS. Freeze frame data records the engine condition when malfunctions are detected. When troubleshooting, freeze frame data can help determine if the vehicle was moving or stationary, if the engine was warmed up or not, and other data from the time the malfunction occurred.
