    1. The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) operates in fail-safe mode if an abnormal condition such as those listed below has been detected.

      • Vehicle information (destination, LHD/RHD, type of headlights) stored in the automatic high beam sensor (inner rear view mirror assembly) matches that sent from each ECU.

      Comes on

      "CHECK AHB SYSTEM" message is indicated

      Automatic High Beam Sensor

      Communication stopped.

      Normal communication signal is detected.

      Comes on

      "CHECK AHB SYSTEM" message is indicated

      Speed Sensor Signal Malfunction

      Abnormal speed sensor signal is detected.

      Normal speed sensor signal is detected.

      Comes on

      CAN Communication Signal Malfunction

      Normal CAN communication signal is not detected.

      Normal CAN communication signal is detected.

      Comes on
