YAW RATE AND DECELERATION SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL YAW RATE SENSOR

   1. Install the yaw rate sensor to the yaw rate sensor bracket with the 2 nuts.

      6.5 N*m

      66 kgf*cm

      58 in.*lbf

      Note:

      If the sensor is dropped, replace it.

   2. Connect the sensor connector.

      Note:

      Securely connect the connector.

   3. Set the yaw rate sensor bracket on the crossmember.

2. INSTALL YAW RATE SENSOR BRACKET

   1. Install the 2 yaw rate sensor brackets with the 2 bolts.

      20 N*m

      204 kgf*cm

      15 ft.*lbf

      Note:

      Make sure that there is no foreign matter or carpet between the bracket and floor.

3. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

   1. Install the console box assembly (Click here).

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note:

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here).

5. PERFORM YAW RATE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION

   1. Perform the yaw rate sensor zero point calibration (Click here).
