FRONT STABILIZER BAR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE FRONT WHEELS

2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY

   Click here

3. REMOVE FRONT UPPER NO. 2 SUSPENSION MEMBER

   Click here

4. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the 2 nuts and front stabilizer link assembly LH from the front stabilizer bar and front lower suspension arm assembly LH.

      Tech Tips

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon socket wrench to hold the stud bolt.

5. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH

   Tech Tips

   Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

6. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH

   Click here

7. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH

   Tech Tips

   Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

8. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 STABILIZER BRACKET LH

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the 2 bolts and front No. 2 stabilizer bracket LH from the front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH.

9. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 STABILIZER BRACKET RH

   Tech Tips

   Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

10. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR

    
    

    1. Remove the front stabilizer bar from the vehicle.

11. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR BUSHING

    
    

    1. Remove the 2 front stabilizer bar bushings from the front stabilizer bar.

12. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET LH

    
    

    1. 

       for LHD:

       
       

       1. Separate the wire harness clamp from the front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH.

       2. Remove the 4 bolts and front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH from the frame.

    2. 

       for RHD:

       
       

       1. Separate the 2 wire harness clamps from the front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH.

       2. Remove the 4 bolts and front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH from the frame.

13. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET RH

    
    

    1. 

       for LHD:

       
       

       1. Separate the 2 wire harness clamps from the front No. 1 stabilizer bracket RH.

       2. Remove the 4 bolts and front No. 1 stabilizer bracket RH from the frame.

    2. 

       for RHD:

       
       

       1. Separate the wire harness clamp from the front No. 1 stabilizer bracket RH.

       2. Remove the 4 bolts and front No. 1 stabilizer bracket RH from the frame.
