    1. The airbag ECU assembly incorporates the yawrate and deceleration sensor. The yawrate and deceleration sensor detects the yaw rate, longitudinal and lateral acceleration of the vehicle and transmits signals to the skid control ECU.

      Tech Tips

      After replacing the airbag ECU assembly or the skid control ECU, initialization of the yaw rate sensor is required. For the actual procedure, refer to the Repair Manual.
