HAZARD WARNING SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT CLOCK ASSEMBLY (Hazard Warning Switch)


    1. Inspect the clock assembly (hazard warning switch).

        Component without harness connected

        Clock Assembly (Hazard Warning Switch)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        H3-3 (TB) - H3-1 (E) Hazard warning switch off 10 kΩ or higher
        Hazard warning switch on Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the clock assembly (hazard warning switch).

      Component without harness connected

      Clock Assembly (Hazard Warning Switch)

      Check the illumination.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the illumination conditions.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → H3-9 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → H3-6 (ILL-)

        		 Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the clock assembly (hazard warning switch).
