IMMOBILISER SYSTEM(w/ Entry and Start System) DTC CHECK / CLEAR

Tip:

  • When using the GTS with the engine switch off, connect the GTS to the vehicle and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at intervals of 1.5 seconds or less until communication between the GTS and the vehicle begins. Then select the Model Code "KEY REGIST" under manual mode and enter the following menus: Body Electrical /Entry&Start(CAN). While using the GTS, periodically turn a courtesy light switch on and off at intervals of 1.5 seconds or less to maintain communication between the GTS and the vehicle.

  1. CHECK FOR CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) DTC

    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Entry & Start / Trouble Codes.

    5. Check for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Entry&Start > Trouble Codes

  2. CHECK FOR ECM DTC

    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine*1 or Engine and ECT*2 / Trouble Codes.

      • *1: for Diesel

      • *2: for Gasoline

    5. Check for DTCs.

      Powertrain > Engine > Trouble Codes

      Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Trouble Codes

  3. CHECK FOR TELEPHONE TRANSCEIVER ASSEMBLY DTC (w/ Blocking System)

    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Telematics / Trouble Codes.

    5. Check for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Telematics > Trouble Codes

  4. CLEAR CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) DTC

    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Entry & Start / Trouble Codes / Clear DTCs.

    5. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Entry&Start > Clear DTCs

  5. CLEAR ECM DTC

    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine*1 or Engine and ECT*2 / Trouble Codes / Clear DTCs.

      • *1: for Diesel

      • *2: for Gasoline

    5. Clear the DTCs.

      Powertrain > Engine > Clear DTCs

      Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Clear DTCs

  6. CLEAR TELEPHONE TRANSCEIVER ASSEMBLY DTC (w/ Blocking System)

    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Telematics / Trouble Codes / Clear DTCs.

    5. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Telematics > Clear DTCs
