FRONT AXLE HUB BOLT REPLACEMENT

Tip:

  • Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

  • The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

  2. REMOVE FRONT FLEXIBLE HOSE

  3. REMOVE DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY LH

  4. REMOVE FRONT DISC

    Click here

  5. REPLACE FRONT AXLE HUB BOLT LH

      Temporarily install 2 nuts and 2 washers to the front axle hub bolts as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using SST and a brass bar or an equivalent tool to hold the front axle, remove the front axle hub bolt.

      Install a washer and nut to a new front axle hub bolt as shown in the illustration.

    4. Using a brass bar or an equivalent tool to hold the front axle, install the hub bolt by tightening the nut.

  6. INSTALL FRONT DISC

  9. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
