REAR VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM (for Navigation Receiver Type) TERMINALS OF ECU


  1. CHECK NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the N12 and N9 navigation receiver assembly connectors.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      N12-3 (ACC) - N12-7 (GND) GR - BR ACC signal Ignition switch off Below 1 V
      Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V
      N12-4 (B) - N12-7 (GND) L-Y - BR Battery Always 11 to 14 V
      N12-7 (GND) - Body ground BR - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      N9-1 (IG) - N12-7 (GND) P - BR IG signal Ignition switch off Below 1 V
      Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the N12 and N9 navigation receiver assembly connectors.

    4. Measure the voltage and waveform according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Ignition switch ON, shift lever in R, screen blacked out by covering camera lens Pulse generation (See waveform 2)
      N10-23 (CGND) - Body ground Shielded - Body ground Shielding Always Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the navigation receiver assembly may have a malfunction.
