LANE DEPARTURE ALERT SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

  1. DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION

    1. The diagnosis function makes the master warning light and the multi-information display turn on, and the lane departure alert indicator light turns off as shown in the illustration. When a malfunction occurs in the lane departure alert system, DTCs are stored in the lane departure warning camera.

      Note:

      The master warning light turns off if the system returns to a normal condition.

  2. CHECK INDICATOR

    1. When a malfunction occurs in the lane departure alert system, the system turns off the lane departure alert indicator and the master warning light illuminates at the same time a "pong" sound is heard. Also, "CHECK LDA SYSTEM" is displayed in the combination meter assembly and the lane departure warning camera stores DTCs.

      Note:

      If DTCs related to the communication system are stored, "CHECK LDA SYSTEM", which is displayed in the combination meter assembly, disappears when the system returns to normal.

      If DTCs not related to the communication system are stored, "CHECK LDA SYSTEM", which is displayed in the combination meter assembly, disappears when the ignition switch is turned off and then to ON after the system returns to normal.
