MANUAL TRANSMISSION OIL REPLACEMENT

PROCEDURE


  1. DRAIN MANUAL TRANSMISSION OIL

    A004H41

    1. Remove the manual transmission filler plug and the gasket.

    2. Remove the manual transmission drain plug and gasket, and then drain the manual transaxle oil.

    3. Install a new gasket and the manual transmission drain plug.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

  2. ADD MANUAL TRANSMISSION OIL

      *a 0 to 5 mm (0 to 0.197 in.)

      Add manual transmission oil until the oil level is within 5 mm (0.197 in.) from the bottom of the manual transmission filler plug opening.

      Manual Transmission Gear Oil
      Oil Grade
      API GL-3 or API GL-4
      Viscosity
      SAE 75W-90
      Standard Capacity (Reference)
      2.2 liters (2.3 US qts, 1.9 Imp. qts)

    2. Check for oil leakage when the oil level is low.

    3. Install the transmission filler plug and a new gasket.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }
