RADIATOR(for Sedan) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

    Click here

  2. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

  5. REMOVE BATTERY

    Click here

  6. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

  7. DISCONNECT NO. 1 WATER HOSE CLAMP BRACKET

      Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the No. 1 water hose clamp bracket from the upper radiator support sub-assembly.

    2. Disengage the 2 clamps.

  8. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  9. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

    Click here

  10. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the clamp to disconnect the hood lock control cable assembly from the upper radiator support sub-assembly.

      Disconnect the horn connector.

    3. A308147

      Remove the 5 bolts and upper radiator support sub-assembly.

  11. DISCONNECT NO. 3 AIR HOSE

    Click here

  12. DISCONNECT NO. 2 AIR HOSE

    Click here

  13. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR SUPPORT

    Click here

  14. REMOVE INTERCOOLER ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  15. DISCONNECT NO. 3 RADIATOR HOSE

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 3 radiator hose.

  16. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

    1. A159254

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose.

  17. DISCONNECT NO. 3 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

    1. A211190

      Disengage the clamp.

    2. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 3 water by-pass hose.

  18. REMOVE NO. 2 FAN SHROUD

    1. A211192

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 fan shroud.

    2. Remove the radiator support cushion.

  19. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

    1. A211191

      Disconnect the cooling fan ECU connector.

    2. Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.

    3. A293683

      Remove the radiator assembly with the fan shroud.

      Note:

      For vehicles with the air conditioning system, do not apply excessive force to the condenser assembly or pipe when removing the radiator assembly.

    4. Remove the 3 lower radiator supports.

  20. REMOVE FAN SHROUD

    1. A159259

      Remove the 2 bolts and fan shroud from the radiator assembly.
