SFI SYSTEM PRECAUTION

  1. INITIALIZATION

    Note:

    • If the ECM is replaced, register the ECU communication ID for Engine Immobiliser System (Refer to the Service Bulletin for Registration).

    • Make sure to perform Reset Memory (CVT initialization) deceleration sensor zero point calibration and CVT oil pressure calibration when replacing the ECM (Click herefor 2WD,Click herefor 4WD/AWD).

  2. WHEN USING GTS

    CAUTION:

    Observe the following items for safety reasons:

    • Before using the GTS, read the instruction manual.

    • Prevent the GTS cable from being caught on the pedals, shift lever or steering wheel when driving with the GTS connected to the vehicle.

    • When driving the vehicle for testing purposes using the GTS, 2 persons are required. One drives the vehicle and the other operates the GTS.

  3. IGNITION SWITCH EXPRESSIONS

    Tip:

    The type of ignition switch used on this model differs depending on the specifications of the vehicle.
