PTC HEATER ASSEMBLY INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT QUICK HEATER ASSEMBLY (for 330W)

   

   *a	Component without harness connected (Quick Heater Assembly)

   1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
      A31-1 - A32-1	23 to 25°C (73 to 77°F)	0.5 to 2.5 Ω
      A31-2 - A32-1	23 to 25°C (73 to 77°F)	0.5 to 2.5 Ω
      A31-2 - A32-2	23 to 25°C (73 to 77°F)	0.5 to 2.5 Ω
      A31-3 - A32-2	23 to 25°C (73 to 77°F)	0.5 to 2.5 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the quick heater assembly.

2. INSPECT QUICK HEATER ASSEMBLY (for 880W)

   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Quick Heater Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
      A31-1 - A30-1	23 to 25°C (73 to 77°F)	0.5 to 2.5 Ω
      A31-2 - A30-1	23 to 25°C (73 to 77°F)	0.5 to 2.5 Ω
      A31-2 - A35-1	23 to 25°C (73 to 77°F)	0.5 to 2.5 Ω
      A31-3 - A35-1	23 to 25°C (73 to 77°F)	0.5 to 2.5 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the quick heater assembly.
