HORN RELAY ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT FUSE (HAZ-HORN)


    1. Check the resistance of HAZ-HORN fuse.

      Standard Resistance
      Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the fuse.

  2. INSPECT HORN RELAY


    1. B007SA9E01

      Disconnect the horn relay connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      C1 - A7 Always Below 1 Ω
      C1 - A6 Always 10 kΩ or higher
      C1 - A6 When battery voltage is applied to terminals C1 and A7. Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.
