PROCEDURE

  1. INSPECT REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

    1. for 14 Speakers:

      1. E144966C01

        *a

        Component without harness connected

        (Rear Speaker Assembly)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection

        Condition

        Specified Condition

        1 - 2

        Always

        4.8 to 7.2 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear speaker.

    2. for 9 Speakers:

      1. E144966C01

        *a

        Component without harness connected

        (Rear Speaker Assembly)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection

        Condition

        Specified Condition

        1 - 2

        Always

        4 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear speaker.

  2. INSPECT REAR NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for 9 Speakers)

    1. E180660C03

      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Rear No. 2 Speaker Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection

      Condition

      Specified Condition

      1 (+TW) - 2 (-TW)

      Always

      Higher than 6.15 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear No. 2 speaker assembly.
