DESCRIPTION

The No. 2 ultrasonic sensor (front corner sensor RH) is installed on the front bumper. The ECU detects obstacles based on signals received from the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor (front corner sensor RH). If the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor (front corner sensor RH) has an open circuit or other malfunction, it will not function normally.

Note:

If the DTC is output after repairs, turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the LEXUS parking assist-sensor system on. Then clear the DTC (Click here).

  2. REPLACE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (FRONT CORNER SENSOR RH)

    1. Replace the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor (front corner sensor RH) with a normally functioning sensor.

      All of the sensors are interchangeable. To confirm whether a sensor is functioning normally, switch it with a known good sensor from the other end of the vehicle.
