TRANSFER ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL TRANSFER ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the transfer to the transmission.

    2. Install the clamp and 8 bolts.

      Torque:
      24 N*m  { 244 kgf*cm, 17 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL MANUAL TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)


    1. G58F:

      Install the manual transmission Click here.

    2. R150F/R151F/R156F:

      Install the manual transmission Click here.

  3. INSTALL AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission)


    1. A340F:

      Install the automatic transmission Click here.

    2. A750F (for 1GR-FE):

      Install the automatic transmission Click here.

      A750F (for 1KD-FTV):

      Install the automatic transmission Click here.

    3. A343F:

      Install the automatic transmission Click here.

  4. INSTALL LOWER TRANSFER CASE PROTECTOR

    A01DWB4

    1. Install the protector with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 183 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  5. ADD TRANSFER OIL


    1. Remove the case plug (for filler) and gasket.

    2. Pour oil so that the oil level is between 0 to 5.0 mm (0 to 0.197 in.) from the bottom lip of the case plug (for filler) hole.

      Note


      • When adding oil, pour it slowly.

      • Add oil a little at a time, waiting several minutes between each addition of oil.

    3. Wait approximately 5 minutes and check that the oil level has not changed.

    4. Install a new gasket and the case plug (for filler).

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

  6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  7. PERFORM INITIALIZATION


    1. Perform initialization Click here.

      Note

      Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
