FRONT BRAKE(for Floating Type Caliper) REASSEMBLY

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

PROCEDURE


  1. TEMPORARILY INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE BLEEDER PLUG


    1. Temporarily install the front disc brake bleeder plug to the front disc brake cylinder assembly LH.

  2. INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE BLEEDER PLUG CAP


    1. Install the front disc brake bleeder plug cap on the front disc brake bleeder plug.

  3. INSTALL PISTON SEAL


    1. A004I46

      Apply a light layer of lithium soap base glycol grease to the entire circumference of 2 new piston seals.

    2. Securely install the 2 piston seals into the grooves of the disc brake cylinder.

      Note

      Securely install the piston seal into the groove of the disc brake cylinder.

  4. INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE PISTON

      *1 Cylinder Boot
      *2 Front Disc Brake Piston
      A004HD0 Lithium Soap Base Glycol Grease

      Apply a light layer of lithium soap base glycol grease to the entire circumference of a new cylinder boot as shown in the illustration.

    2. Securely install the cylinder boot into the grooves of the front disc brake piston.

    3. Apply a light of lithium soap base glycol grease to the entire circumference of the 2 front disc brake pistons and install them to the front disc brake cylinder LH.

      Note

      Do not install the piston forcibly in the disc brake cylinder.

  5. INSTALL CYLINDER BOOT


    1. Securely install the cylinder boot into the groove of the front disc brake cylinder LH.
