  1. The requested oil pressure value is 0.5 MPa or less.

  2. The ratio of the rotation speeds of the primary pulley (NIN) and secondary pulley (NOUT) exceeds the threshold.

MONITOR DESCRIPTION

The ECM checks for belt clamping high-pressure or low-pressure errors. When a mechanical malfunction is detected at shift solenoid valve SLS and at the oil pressure sensor, the ECM detects the problem, illuminates the MIL and stores the DTC.

PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (IN ADDITION TO DTC P0841 AND P2829)

    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.

      Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Trouble Codes

    5. Read the DTCs using the GTS.

      Result

      Proceed to

      Only P0841 and/or P2829 is output

      P0841 and/or P2829 and other DTCs are output

      Tip:

      If any other DTCs besides P0841 or P2829 are output, perform troubleshooting for those DTCs first.

    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
