FRONT BUMPER REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM


    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.

  2. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING


    1. Attach the 18 claws to install the radiator grille moulding.

    2. Install the 7 screws.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL

    Tech Tips

    When installing the No. 1 radiator grille seal, heat the radiator grille using a heat light.

    Standard
    Item Temperature
    Radiator Grille 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

    Note

    Do not heat the radiator grille excessively.


    1. Clean the radiator grille surface.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the radiator grille surface.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the radiator grille surface.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Install a new No. 1 radiator grille seal.


      1. Remove the peeling paper from the face of a new No. 1 radiator grille seal.

        Tech Tips

        After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      2. Attach the 13 clips to install the No. 1 radiator grille seal.

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. Attach the 13 claws to install the No. 1 lower radiator grille.

  5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH


    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the front bumper hole cover.

  6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Fog Light)


    1. Install the fog light assembly LH with the 3 bolts.

  8. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  9. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)


    1. Attach the 3 clamps to install the No. 1 headlight cleaner hose to the front bumper cover.

  10. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly LH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      1.1 N*m  { 11 kgf*cm, 10 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the headlight cleaner hose.

  11. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  12. INSTALL TYPE 1 HEADLIGHT WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)


    1. A01DWCG

      Attach the 2 claws to install the type 1 headlight washer nozzle sub-assembly LH.

  13. INSTALL TYPE 1 HEADLIGHT WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  14. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION LH (w/ Outside Moulding)


    1. Install the front bumper extension with the 8 retainers.

  15. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION RH (w/ Outside Moulding)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
