SEAT HEATER SYSTEM


  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS


    1. The main components in the seat heater system have the following functions:

      Component Function
      Front Seat Cushion Heater These seat heaters are sewn into the internal surfaces of the seat cushion and the seat back. It warms up the seat surfaces using the heat caused by electrical resistance.
      Front Seat Back Heater
      Seat Heater Switch By operating this switch, the seat heater system can be shifted between on (High/Low) and off.

    1. Seat Heater System


      1. The seat heater system is controlled by the thermostat in the seat heaters.


        • The seat heater is warmed by pressing the HI switch.


        • When the temperature of the seat heaters reaches approximately 40°C (104°F), the thermostat will block the current and the temperature will decrease.


        • When the temperature of the seat heaters decreases to approximately 30°C (86°F), the thermostat applies current again in order to warm the seat heaters.

      2. The LO switch is used to maintain a temperature. Once the seat has warmed up, change to the LO switch.

  3. CONSTRUCTION


    1. Seat Heater Switch


      1. When the HI switch or LO switch of the seat heater switch assembly is pressed and the seat heater turns on, the indicator light turns on.
