COMPRESSOR(for 2AR-FE) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

  2. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT

    Click here

  3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

    Click here

  4. REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  5. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose sub-assembly from the compressor assembly with pulley.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose sub-assembly.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.

  6. DISCONNECT SUCTION HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the suction hose sub-assembly from the compressor assembly with pulley.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the suction hose sub-assembly.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.

  7. REMOVE COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY WITH PULLEY


    1. B00890Z

      Remove the bolt.

    2. Disconnect the connector and wire harness.

    3. for Type A:


      1. B00883VC01
        B00888T Bolt
        B0086HX Nut

        Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

      2. B0086SG

        Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 stud bolts and compressor assembly with pulley.

    4. for Type B:


      1. B0083Q4

        Remove the 4 bolts and compressor assembly with pulley.
