GENERATOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Air Conditioning System)

   1. Install the generator assembly with the 2 bolts.

      42 N*m

      428 kgf*cm

      31 ft.*lbf

   2. Connect the generator assembly connector and engage the wire harness clamp.

   3. Connect the wire harness to terminal B with the nut.

      12 N*m

      122 kgf*cm

      9 ft.*lbf

   4. Install the terminal cap.

2. INSTALL WASHER JAR ASSEMBLY (w/ Air Conditioning System)

   1. Install the washer jar assembly with the 2 bolts.

      5.5 N*m

      56 kgf*cm

      49 in.*lbf

   2. Engage the 3 wire harness clamps to the washer jar assembly.

3. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT TENSIONER (w/ Air Conditioning System)

   1. Using an 8 mm hexagon wrench, install the V-ribbed belt tensioner with the bolt.

      40 N*m

      408 kgf*cm

      30 ft.*lbf

4. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT (w/ Air Conditioning System)

5. INSTALL HEADLAMP UNIT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Air Conditioning System)

6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Air Conditioning System)

   Note:

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

7. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY (w/o Air Conditioning System)

   1. Install the generator assembly.

8. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT (w/o Air Conditioning System)
