PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL CONNECTOR MALE HOUSING (w/o Seat Heater System)

      Engage the claw to install the connector male housing.

  2. INSTALL CONNECTOR HOLDER (for Front Passenger Side)

      Engage the claw to install the connector holder.

  3. INSTALL SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE


    1. B008LHT

      Engage the claws to install the seat track adjusting handle to the front seat adjuster assembly.

  4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B008KA0

      Engage the hooks to install the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly to the front seat adjuster assembly.

  5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION WIRE HARNESS HOLDER

      Engage the claw to install the front seat cushion wire harness holder.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE (for Driver Side)

      Engage the claw.

    2. Disengage the clamps to install the front seat wire.

  7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE (for Front Passenger Side)

      Engage the claw.

    2. Disengage the clamps to install the front seat wire.

  8. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT SEAT WIRE (w/ Seat Position Airbag Sensor)

      Engage the claw and clamp to install the No. 2 front seat wire.

  9. INSTALL LH SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH (for Driver Side)

      Engage the claws to install the LH seat reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  10. INSTALL LH SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH (for Driver Side)

      Engage the claws to install the LH seat reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

    2. B008KEE

      w/ Lumbar Support:


      1. Engage the claw.

  11. INSTALL RH SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH (for Front Passenger Side)

      Engage the claws to install the RH seat reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  12. INSTALL RH SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH (for Front Passenger Side)

      Engage the claws to install the RH seat reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  13. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

    2. Engage the hook to install the front seat lower cushion shield.

  14. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

    2. Engage the hook to install the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

  16. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

    Note

    When installing a separate type front seat cushion cover, refer to Precaution in order to prevent wrinkles from forming.

      Engage the claws to install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  17. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. Engage the hooks (A) and hooks (B) to install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

    3. for Front Passenger Side:

        Engage the claw to install the occupant detection sensor connector.

    4. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Connect the connector.

        Engage the clamp.

  18. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT SEAT WIRE (w/ Lumbar Support)

      Engage the clamp to install the No. 2 front seat wire.

  19. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK HOOK

      Engage the claws to install the 2 front seatback hooks from the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  20. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Lumbar Support)

      Install the 2 front seatback edge protectors to the front seatback spring sub-assembly.

      B008LJK Install in this Direction

      Engage the guides to install the front seatback spring sub-assembly to the front seatback frame sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    3. B008KGQ

      Engage the claws to install the 2 front seatback edge protectors to the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  21. INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY (w/ Lumbar Support)

        Engage the claws to install the separate type front seatback cover to the separate type front seatback pad.

        Note

        Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

    2. w/o Front Seat Airbag Assembly:

        Engage the claws to install the separate type front seatback cover to the separate type front seatback pad.

        Note

        Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

  25. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. Install the separate type front seatback cover with pad to the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

  26. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      Engage the claws to install the 2 front seat headrest supports as shown in the illustration.

    2. B008LKQ

      Close the 2 fasteners as shown in the illustration.

    3. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. B008LU6

        Engage the clamp.

      Engage the hooks.

  27. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY


    1. B008MFU

      Engage the guides to install the separate type front seatback assembly to the separate type front seat cushion assembly.

    2. Install the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      w/ Front Seat Side Airbag


      1. Engage the claw and clamps to install the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

        Tech Tips

        Engage the claw first.

    4. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Engage the clamp.

      2. Connect the connector.

    5. w/ Lumbar Support:


      1. B008KB0

        Engage the clamp.

      2. Connect the connector.

  28. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTER BRACKET COVER (w/ Vertical Adjuster)
