CLUTCH PEDAL(for RHD) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL PAD

   1. Install the clutch pedal pad to the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 CLUTCH PEDAL CUSHION

   1. Install the No. 1 clutch pedal cushion to the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

3. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SHAFT COLLAR

   1. 

      Lithium Soap Base Glycol Grease

      Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to the clutch pedal shaft collar.

   2. Install the clutch pedal shaft collar to the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

4. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL BUSHING

   1. 

      Lithium Soap Base Glycol Grease

      Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to both sides of 2 new brake pedal bushings.

   2. Install the 2 clutch pedal bushings to the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

5. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SUB-ASSEMBLY

   1. Install the clutch pedal sub-assembly to the clutch pedal support sub-assembly with the bolt and nut.

      24.2 N*m

      247 kgf*cm

      18 ft.*lbf

6. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SPRING

   1. Install the clutch pedal spring to the clutch pedal sub-assembly and clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

7. INSTALL CLUTCH RELEASE CABLE GROMMET

   1. 

      Install the clutch release cable grommet to the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

8. INSTALL NO. 2 CLUTCH PEDAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY

9. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL STOPPER BOLT

   1. Install the clutch pedal stopper bolt and clutch pedal stopper nut to the clutch pedal support sub-assembly and temporarily install the clutch pedal stopper nut.

      Tip:

      Tighten the clutch pedal stopper nut to the specified torque when adjusting the clutch pedal height.

10. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Install the clutch pedal support sub-assembly to the vehicle body with the 2 nuts and 2 bolts.

11. CONNECT NO. 2 STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT ASSEMBLY

12. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN HOLE COVER PLATE

13. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Clutch Pedal Switch Assembly)

14. INSTALL CONNECTOR MALE HOUSING (w/o Clutch Pedal Switch Assembly)

    Click here

15. CONNECT WIRE HARNESS

    1. Engage the clamp and connect the wire harness to the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

16. CONNECT CONNECTORS

    Click here

17. CONNECT CLUTCH RELEASE CABLE ASSEMBLY

    1. 

       Lithium Soap Base Glycol Grease

       Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

    2. Connect the clutch release cable assembly to the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

18. INSPECT AND ADJUST CLUTCH PEDAL
