ACTIVE STABILIZER SUSPENSION SYSTEM

  1. OUTLINE

    1. An active stabilizer suspension system which suppress body roll by controlling 2 active stabilizer control actuator assemblies in accordance with the road conditions to ensure a stable vehicle posture has been adopted.

    2. A pair of active stabilizer actuators are provided, one each for the front and rear stabilizer bars for optimum control of the stabilizer force in accordance with vehicle posture.

    3. Each active stabilizer control actuator assembly is controlled by its respective active stabilizer control ECU assembly.

    4. To activate the active stabilizer control actuator assemblies, the active stabilizer suspension system uses electrical power from the HV battery that has been converted to a lower voltage by the DC-DC converter (power steering converter assembly).

    5. A mode switching function enables the control amount of the active stabilizer control actuator assembly to be changed.
