FRONT AIR CONDITIONING UNIT REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL AIR DAMPER CASE ASSEMBLY

    1. E294250

      Turn the air damper case assembly as shown in the illustration to install it.

    2. Install the bolt.

      1.2 N*m

      12 kgf*cm

      11 in.*lbf

  2. INSTALL DEFROSTER DAMPER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Air Conditioning System)

    1. E294242

      Connect the defroster damper control cable sub-assembly cable end to the control lever.

    2. Engage the guide to install the defroster damper control cable sub-assembly.

  3. INSTALL AIR INLET DAMPER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Air Conditioning System)

    1. E294241

      Connect the air inlet damper control cable sub-assembly cable end to the control lever.

    2. Engage the guide to install the air inlet damper control cable sub-assembly.

  4. INSTALL AIR MIX DAMPER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Air Conditioning System)

      Connect the air mix damper control cable sub-assembly cable end to the control lever.

    2. Engage the guide to install the air mix damper control cable sub-assembly.

  5. INSTALL BLOWER MOTOR WITH FAN SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. E294251

      Turn the blower motor with fan sub-assembly as shown in the illustration to engage the claw and install it.

  6. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

    1. E294237

      Install the air conditioning radiator assembly to the air conditioning unit assembly with the 2 bolts.

      1.2 N*m

      12 kgf*cm

      11 in.*lbf

    2. E294236

      Install the air conditioning radiator case to the air conditioning unit assembly with the 3 bolts.

      1.2 N*m

      12 kgf*cm

      11 in.*lbf

  7. INSTALL BLOWER RESISTOR

    1. E294252

      Slide the blower resistor as shown in the illustration to engage the claw and install it.

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER THERMISTOR (w/ Cooler System)

    1. E294234

      Install the No. 1 cooler thermistor to the air conditioning unit assembly.

  9. INSTALL AIR FILTER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Cooler System)

    1. E294233

      Install the air filter sub-assembly and air filter case to the air conditioning unit assembly.

  10. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

      Turn the No. 1 air conditioning radiator damper servo sub-assembly as shown in the illustration to engage the claw and install it.

  11. INSTALL NO. 2 AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

      Turn the No. 2 air conditioning radiator damper servo sub-assembly as shown in the illustration to engage the claw and install it.

  12. INSTALL NO. 1 DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

      Turn the No. 1 damper servo sub-assembly as shown in the illustration to engage the claw and install it.

  13. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS ASSEMBLY (w/ Cooler System)

    1. for LHD (for Automatic Air Conditioning System):

      1. Engage each clamp to install air conditioning harness assembly.

      2. Connect each connector.

    2. for RHD (for Automatic Air Conditioning System):

      1. Engage each clamp to install the air conditioning harness assembly.

      2. Connect each connector.

    3. for Manual Air Conditioning System:

      1. Engage each clamp to install air conditioning harness assembly.
