PNEUMATIC TANK INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 5 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE


    1. B006D06

      Pass the No. 5 height control tube out from the trunk room to the outside of the vehicle.

    2. Pull the grommet through the lower side of the vehicle (exterior) and attach it.

    3. B006FLP

      Connect the No. 5 height control tube to the No. 3 height control valve assembly.

      Note

      Replace the O-ring, plate and No. 2 connector with new ones.

    4. B006BYD

      Connect the clamp.

  2. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL PRESSURE SENSOR


    1. B006E94

      Apply a light coat of lithium soap base glycol grease to a new O-ring.

    2. Install the O-ring to the height control pressure sensor.

    3. Install the height control pressure sensor to the pneumatic tank with tube assembly.

      Torque:
      10.8 N*m  { 110 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }
  3. INSTALL PNEUMATIC TANK WITH TUBE ASSEMBLY


    1. B006CS6

      Install the pneumatic tank with tube assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      19.1 N*m  { 195 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }
  4. CONNECT NO. 5 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE


    1. B006BZM

      Connect the clamp.

    2. Connect the No. 5 height control tube to the pneumatic tank with tube assembly.

      Note

      Replace the O-ring, plate and No. 2 connector with new ones.

    3. Connect the harness clamp.

    4. Connect the connector.

  5. INSTALL BATTERY CARRIER CATCH BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Tech Tips


    • Make sure to use the nitrogen gas injector (SST) and adapter (SST).

    • Select an adapter (SST) that matches the standard of the nitrogen cylinder and install it.

    • The adapter (SST) is not required for JIS standard.

  7. CHECK CONNECTIONS OF TUBES FOR AIR LEAKAGE

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 FLOOR UNDER COVER

    Click here

  9. CHECK VEHICLE HEIGHT

    Note

    If the height control sensor link is removed, check the vehicle height.


    1. Change the height control switch from the "NORM" position to the "HIGH" position and back to the "NORM" position again.

    2. Measure the vehicle height.

  10. ADJUST VEHICLE HEIGHT

    Note

    If the height control sensor has been replaced, be sure to adjust the vehicle height.
