VACUUM REGULATING VALVE (w/ EGR System with EGR Cooler) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL ELECTRIC VACUUM REGULATING VALVE


    1. A01DWTM

      Install the electric vacuum regulating valve with bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      20 N*m  { 204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }
    2. A01DZT9

      Connect the 4 vacuum hoses.

      Note

      Install the vacuum hoses so that they completely cover the pipes.

    3. A01DYM6

      Connect the connector.

  2. INSTALL GAS FILTER


    1. A01E1KY

      Install the gas filter with bracket with the bolt.

      Torque:
      20 N*m  { 204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

    2. Connect the 2 vacuum hoses.

      Note

      Install the vacuum hoses so that they completely cover the pipes.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    A01E1YJ

    1. Install the engine cover with the 3 bolts and 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  5. PERFORM INITIALIZATION


    1. Perform initialization Click here.

      Note

      Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
