KINETIC DYNAMIC SUSPENSION SYSTEM ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSPECT INDICATOR LIGHT

    1. Check that the KDSS indicator light comes on for 2 seconds.

If the indicator check result is not normal, proceed to troubleshooting for the Problem Symptoms Table (Click here).

  2. INSPECT FLUID PRESSURE

    Note:
    • Perform the inspection on a level surface.

    • Make sure that the wheels are on the ground and facing straight ahead.

    • Perform the inspection with the vehicle load completely on the suspension.

    Tip:
    • Perform this step with the fuel tank full.

    • If there are any parts installed to the vehicle which place any unbalanced load on the left or right side of the vehicle, remove them.

    1. Turn the engine switch off.

    2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
