OIL COOLER INSTALLATION
PROCEDURE
INSTALL TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER
Install the transmission oil cooler to the front engine mounting bracket with the 2 bolts.

Yellow Paint Mark
Install the No. 8 water by-pass hose and No. 9 water by-pass hose, and slide the clips to secure it.
Note:Make sure the paint marks are aligned as shown in the illustration.
Make sure that the claws marked A in the illustration are facing toward the top of the vehicle.
Make sure that the claws marked B in the illustration are facing toward the LH of the vehicle.
Make sure that the claws marked C in the illustration are facing toward the front end of the vehicle.
Make sure that the claws marked D in the illustration are facing toward the underside of the vehicle.
Attach the 3 clamp to the No. 8 water by-pass hose and No. 9 water by-pass hose.

Install the oil cooler inlet hose and oil cooler outlet hose, and slide the clips to secure it.
Note:Make sure the paint marks are aligned as shown in the illustration.
Make sure that the claws marked A in the illustration are facing toward the front end of the vehicle.
Position the claws of the clips so that they do not interfere with other parts unless otherwise specified.

INSTALL BATTERY INSULATOR
INSTALL BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY
CONNECT CABLE TO POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note:When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click hereClick hereClick hereClick hereClick hereClick here).
ADD AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID
ADD ENGINE COOLANT
INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK
ADJUST AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID
