INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR REMOVAL

  • Use the same procedure as for the LHD and RHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR STAY HOLDER COVER (w/o Pre-collision System)

      B006DHE Remove in this Direction

      Slide the inner rear view mirror stay holder cover as shown in the illustration and detach the claw.

      B006BJ7 Place finger here
      B006DHE Remove in this Direction (1)
      B006B42 Remove in this Direction (2)

      Detach the guide as indicated by the arrows in the order shown in the illustration and remove the inner rear view mirror stay holder cover.

  2. REMOVE FRONT ROOF TOP GARNISH (w/ Pre-collision System)

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 FORWARD RECOGNITION COVER (w/ Pre-collision System)

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 FORWARD RECOGNITION COVER (w/ Pre-collision System)

  5. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY


    1. w/ Pre-collision System:


      1. B006AT8C02
        B006AHR "TORX" Screw
        B006EC9 Connector

        Detach the clamp and disconnect the connector.

      2. Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" screw.

        B006DHE Remove in this Direction

        Slide the inner rear view mirror assembly as shown in the illustration and remove the inner rear view mirror assembly.

    2. w/o Pre-collision System:


      1. B006B9T

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. B006C4X

        Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" screw.

        Slide the inner rear view mirror assembly as shown in the illustration and remove the inner rear view mirror assembly.
