PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE SEAT SLIDE POSITION SENSOR PROTECTOR (w/ Seat Position Airbag Sensor)

  2. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (w/ Seat Position Airbag Sensor)

  3. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

  6. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Disconnect the rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover.

  7. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

      B008LJK Remove in this Direction

      Operate the vertical adjusting handle and using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claw to remove the vertical adjusting handle as shown in the illustration.

  8. REMOVE RECLINING HINGE OUTER COVER

      B008LJK Remove in this Direction

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claw and guide to remove the reclining hingeouter cover as shown in the illustration.

  9. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

      Disengage the guide to remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

  10. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

      B008LJK Remove in this Direction (1)
      B008KJ9 Remove in this Direction (2)

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claws as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the guides to remove the seat adjuster cover cap as shown in the illustration.

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Driver Side)

      Disengage the claws as shown in the illustration.

      Disengage the claws and guides (A) as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the guide (B) to remove the front seat cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

      w/ Lumbar Support:


      1. Disengage the clamps.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

  12. REMOVE FRONT LUMBAR POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/ Lumbar Support)

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD (for Driver Side)

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Front Passenger Side)

      Disengage the claws and guides (A) as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the guide (B) to remove the front seat cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

  15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD (for Front Passenger Side)

      Disengage the claws and guides to remove the front seat inner cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

  16. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTER BRACKET COVER (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

      Disengage the claw to remove the vertical adjuster bracket cover.

  17. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the hooks.

    2. w/ Lumbar Support:

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

    3. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

    4. B008MI0

      w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:


      1. Disengage the claw and clamps to separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

        Tech Tips

        Disengage the clamps first.

    5. B008MFU

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    6. Disengage the guides to remove the separate type front seatback assembly from the separate type front seat cushion assembly.

  18. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      Disengage the hooks.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Disengage the clamp.

    3. B008LAA

      Open the 2 fasteners as shown in the illustration.

      Disengage the claws to remove the 2 front seat headrest supports as shown in the illustration.

  19. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad from the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

  20. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER


    1. w/ Front Seat Airbag Assembly:


      1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the claws to remove the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad as shown in the illustration.

      1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the claws to remove the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad as shown in the illustration.

      Disengage the guides to remove the front seatback spring sub-assembly from the front seatback frame sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Remove the 2 front seatback edge protectors from the front seatback spring sub-assembly.

  25. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HOOK

      Disengage the claws to remove the 2 front seatback hooks from the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  26. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT SEAT WIRE (w/ Lumbar Support)

      Disengage the clamp to remove the No. 2 front seat wire.

  27. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Disengage the clamp.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

    2. for Front Passenger Side:

        Disengage the claw to remove the occupant detection sensor connector.

    3. B008KKY

      Disengage the hooks.

    4. Disengage the hooks (A) and hooks (B) to remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

  28. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the claws to remove the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad as shown in the illustration.

  36. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT SEAT WIRE (w/ Seat Position Airbag Sensor)

      Disengage the clamp and claw to remove the No. 2 front seat wire.

  37. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE (for Driver Side)

      Disengage the clamps.

    2. Disengage the claw to remove the front seat wire.

  38. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE (for Front Passenger Side)

    2. Disengage the claw to remove the front seat wire.

  39. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION WIRE HARNESS HOLDER

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the claw to remove the front seat cushion wire harness holder.

  40. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the hooks to remove the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly from the front seat adjuster assembly.

  41. REMOVE SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE

      Disengage the claws to remove the seat track adjusting handle from the front seat adjuster assembly.

  42. REMOVE CONNECTOR HOLDER (for Front Passenger Side)

      Disengage the claw to remove the connector holder.

  43. REMOVE CONNECTOR MALE HOUSING (w/o Seat Heater System)
