ENGINE OIL COOLER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL OIL CHECK VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY

   1. Install the 2 oil check valve sub-assemblies and 2 new gaskets to the oil filter assembly.

2. INSTALL OIL COOLER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

   1. Using a T8 "TORX" socket wrench, install the oil cooler cover sub-assembly to the oil filter assembly with the 2 bolts.

      8.0 N*m

      82 kgf*cm

      71 in.*lbf

3. INSTALL OIL FILTER ASSEMBLY

   1. Install a new gasket to the oil filter assembly.

   2. Install the oil filter assembly with the 6 bolts.

      19 N*m

      194 kgf*cm

      14 ft.*lbf

4. INSTALL OIL FILTER SUB-ASSEMBLY

5. INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD

6. ADD ENGINE OIL

7. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK
