CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Instrument Panel Under Cover)

  2. REMOVE BRAKE BOOSTER ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  3. DISCONNECT CLUTCH RESERVOIR TUBE

    1. Loosen the clip and disconnect the clutch reservoir tube from the clutch master cylinder assembly.

      Tip:

      Use a container to collect the fluid.

  4. DISCONNECT CLUTCH LINE

    1. Using a 10 mm union nut wrench, disconnect the clutch line.

      Tip:

      Use a container to collect the fluid.

  5. REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

      Remove the clip from the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis with hole pin.

    2. Remove the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis with hole pin and disconnect the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

      Remove the 2 nuts and clutch master cylinder assembly from the body.

    4. Remove the clutch master cylinder bracket.

  6. REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

    1. C274598

      Push the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis upward and release it toward the left side of the vehicle.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and clutch master cylinder assembly from the body.

    3. Remove the clutch master cylinder bracket.
