REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER

    Note

    When installing a bench type rear seat cushion cover, refer to Precaution in order to prevent wrinkles from forming.

    1. Engage the claws to install the bench type rear seat cushion cover to the No. 1 rear seat cushion pad sub-assembly.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

    2. for 2WD:


      1. Install the rear seat cushion pad to the No. 1 rear seat cushion pad sub-assembly.

      2. Engage the hooks and hook and loop fastener to install the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

        *a Hook and Loop Fastener - -

        Note

        Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

    3. for 4WD:


      1. Install the rear seat cushion pad to the No. 1 rear seat cushion pad sub-assembly.

      2. Engage the hooks and hook and loop fastener to install the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

        Note

        Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

  2. INSTALL CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT GUIDE CUP (w/ Cover)

      Install the child restraint seat guide cup.

      Use the same procedure for all child restraint seat guide cups.

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT COVER (w/ Cover)

      Engage the claws to install the No. 2 child restraint seat cover as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for all No. 2 child restraint seat covers.

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT COVER (w/ Cover)

      Engage the guides and claws to install the No. 1 child restraint seat cover as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for all No. 1 child restraint seat covers.

  5. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)


    1. A001UC7

      Engage the guides to install the rear seatback lock assembly LH.

    2. Install the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      30 N*m  { 306 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER (for LH Side)

    Note

    When installing a separate type rear seatback cover, refer to Precaution in order to prevent wrinkles from forming.

      Engage the claws to install the separate type rear seatback cover to the separate type rear seatback pad LH.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover.

  7. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for LH Side)

      Install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly LH.

  8. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT (for LH Side)

      Engage the claws to install the 2 rear seat headrest supports as shown in the illustration.

  9. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)

      Engage the guides and claws to install the rear seatback board sub-assembly LH.

    2. A001WCOC01
      *a Fastener

      Close the 2 fasteners as shown in the illustration.

    3. A001VPX

      Engage the hook.

  10. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK CONTROL BEZEL (for LH Side)


    1. A001SXL

      Engage the hooks to the separate type rear seatback cover.

    2. A001XMB

      Engage the claws to install a new rear seatback lock control bezel.

  11. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)


    1. A001XVS

      Engage the guides to install the rear seatback lock assembly RH.

    2. Install the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      30 N*m  { 306 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf }

  12. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

  13. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER (for RH Side)

      Engage the claws to install the separate type rear seatback cover to the separate type rear seatback pad RH.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover.

  14. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for RH Side)

      Pass the rear center seat outer belt assembly through the separate type rear seatback cover with pad and temporarily install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly RH as shown in the illustration.

  15. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST SUPPORT (w/ Center Headrest)

      Engage the claws to install the 2 rear seat center headrest supports as shown in the illustration.

  16. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT (for RH Side)

      Engage the claws to install the 2 rear seat headrest supports as shown in the illustration.

  17. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)

      Engage the guides and claws to install the rear seatback board sub-assembly RH.

    2. A001V55C01
      *a Fastener

      Close the 2 fasteners as shown in the illustration.

    3. A001VPX

      Engage the hook.

  18. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK CONTROL BEZEL (for RH Side)

      Engage the hooks to the separate type rear seatback cover.

    2. A001UVD

      Engage the claws to install a new rear seatback lock control bezel.

  19. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT HOLE COVER (for RH Side)


    1. A001S9X

      Install the rear seat shoulder belt hole cover.

  20. INSTALL SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP (for RH Side)

      Engage the guides to install the seat belt anchor cover cap as shown in the illustration.
