AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM INITIALIZATION

Note

If replacing the suspension control ECU and height control sensor sub-assembly, perform the vehicle height offset calibration.


  1. VEHICLE HEIGHT OFFSET CALIBRATION


    1. Perform vehicle height inspection.

      for 2WD: Click here

      for AWD: Click here

    2. Perform vehicle height offset calibration.


      1. Turn the engine switch off.

      2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

      3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

      4. Using the GTS, Enter the following menus: Chassis / Air suspension / Data List. Then read and write the values for "Height Adjust" and "Height After the Adjustment" values of each wheel.

        Note

        The possible vehicle height automatic adjustment value is 25 mm (0.984 in.). If the "Height Adjust value + (Standard value - Measurement value - After Height Adjust value)" is 25 mm (0.984 in.) or more, first perform the vehicle height adjustment (height control link adjustment).

      5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Air suspension / Utility / Height Offset.


        Chassis > Air suspension > Utility

        Height Offset
      6. Select the wheel to perform adjustment of the height control sensor sub-assembly.

      7. According to the screen display, input the measurement value and input value to complete adjustments.

        Tech Tips

        Input values should be rounded off to the nearest integer.

      8. Using the Data List, confirm that the vehicle height control operation is complete.

    3. Perform vehicle height inspection.

      1. Check that the standard value is within +/- 14.3 mm (+/-0.563 in.).
