SELECT STROKE SENSOR INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSPECT SELECT STROKE SENSOR

      Check the output voltage of the select stroke sensor (main circuit).

      1. Prepare 3 dry cell batteries (1.5 V) and 2 leads for connecting the batteries to the sensor.

      2. Connect the batteries in series.

      3. Connect a positive (+) lead from the batteries to terminal 3, and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2.

      4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Voltage (combined dry cell battery voltage of 4.5 V)

        Note:

        • Do not apply more than 6 V.

        • If the select stroke sensor has been dropped or subjected to a severe impact, replace it.

        If the result is not as specified, replace the select stroke sensor.

      1. Prepare 3 dry cell batteries (1.5 V) and 2 leads for connecting the batteries to the sensor.

      3. Connect a positive (+) lead from the batteries to terminal 6, and a negative (-) lead terminal 5.

      4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
