  1. PRECAUTION WHEN REPLACING BODY ECU (w/ Door Control Battery)


    1. As the door control battery is installed between the vehicle battery and body ECU, first perform the inspections to confirm that there are no malfunctions in the power source circuit for the body ECU before performing this troubleshooting procedure.

If the ECU-B NO.4 fuse (the main power source fuse of the body ECU) is removed with the door control battery charged, power will be supplied to the body ECU from the door control battery for up to 30 minutes. At this time, the body ECU will be able to function with the ECU-B NO.4 fuse (the main power source fuse of the body ECU) removed.

  2. PRECAUTIONS FOR DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER


    1. The door control transmitter is a precision instrument. Be sure to observe the following:


      1. Do not subject the door control transmitter to strong physical shocks.

      2. Do not keep the door control transmitter in a high temperature area for a long time.

      3. Do not use an ultrasonic washing machine to clean the door control transmitter.

      4. Do not use the door control transmitter near any magnets or magnetized items.

      5. Do not place the door control transmitter near magnetic equipment, such as digital audio players, induction cookers, medical devices that generate low-frequency electromagnetic waves, etc.

      6. Do not attach any stickers to the door control transmitter.

      7. Do not disassemble the door control transmitters.

      8. The mechanical key should only be used in an emergency, such as when the transmitter battery is depleted.
