DIFFERENTIAL MOUNT CUSHION(for Front) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER MASS DAMPER (for 8AR-FTS)

  2. INSTALL REAR DIFFERENTIAL DYNAMIC DAMPER LH (for 3ZR-FAE)

  3. INSTALL REAR DIFFERENTIAL DYNAMIC DAMPER RH (for 3ZR-FAE)

  4. TEMPORARILY INSTALL REAR NO. 1 DIFFERENTIAL SUPPORT


    1. Temporarily install the rear No. 1 differential support to the rear suspension member sub-assembly with the bolt and nut.

    2. Install the rear No. 1 differential support to the rear differential carrier assembly with 2 new bolts.

  5. TEMPORARILY INSTALL REAR NO. 2 DIFFERENTIAL SUPPORT


    1. Temporarily install the rear No. 2 differential support to the rear suspension member sub-assembly with the bolt and nut.

    2. Install the rear No. 2 differential support to the rear differential carrier assembly with 2 new bolts.

  6. INSTALL REAR DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Note


    • When installing the rear differential carrier assembly, do not damage the installation surface.

    • Hold the rear differential carrier assembly so that it does not tilt or fall.

    • Make sure to support the rear differential carrier assembly while installing each bolt.

      *1 Rear No. 1 Differential Support
      *2 Rear No. 2 Differential Support

      Tighten the bolts labeled A of the rear No. 1 differential support and rear No. 2 differential support.

      Torque:
      55 N*m  { 561 kgf*cm, 41 ft.*lbf }

    2. Tighten the bolts labeled B of the rear No. 1 differential support and rear No. 2 differential support.

      Torque:
      88.8 N*m  { 906 kgf*cm, 65 ft.*lbf }

    3. Remove the transmission jack from the rear differential carrier assembly.

  8. INSTALL FUEL TANK ASSEMBLY
