WHEEL OPENING MOULDING REASSEMBLY

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Tip:

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH

    Tip:

    When installing the front wheel opening extension pad , heat the front fender moulding sub-assembly using a heat light.

    Note:

    Do not heat the front fender moulding sub-assembly excessively.

    1. Clean the front fender moulding sub-assembly surface.

      1. Using a heat light, heat the front fender moulding sub-assembly surface.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the front fender moulding sub-assembly.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

      Install a new front wheel opening extension pad.

      1. Using a heat light, heat the front fender moulding sub-assembly.

      2. Remove the peeling paper from the face of the front wheel opening extension pad.

        Tip:

        After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      3. Install the front wheel opening extension pad.

        Tip:

        Press the front wheel opening extension pad firmly to install it.
