LUMBAR SWITCH REMOVAL

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during the front lumbar power seat switch removal/installation are shown below.

  • Front lumbar power seat switch is available only on the driver side.

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

  2. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

  3. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

  4. REMOVE RECLINING HINGE OUTER COVER

  5. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

  6. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the guides to remove the front lumbar power seat switch.
