SHIFT STROKE SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  2. REMOVE FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY

  3. DISCONNECT ENGINE WIRE

    1. Disconnect the engine wire from the ECM.

      1. A207317

        Raise the lever while pushing the lock on the lever, and disconnect the ECM connector.

      2. A207318

        Disconnect the 2 engine wire connectors and 2 clamps.

  4. REMOVE FUEL FILTER SUPPORT

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER BRACKET

    Click here

  6. REMOVE SHIFT STROKE SENSOR

      Disconnect the wire harness clamp.

    2. Disconnect the shift stroke sensor connector.

    3. C199452

      Remove the 2 screws and shift stroke sensor from the shift and select actuator.

    4. Remove the O-ring from the shift stroke sensor.
