  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

  2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT


    1. Remove the radiator cap.

    2. Loosen the cylinder block drain cock plug and radiator drain cock plug, and then drain the coolant.

      Tech Tips

      Collect the coolant in a container and dispose of it according to the regulations in your area.

  3. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR


    1. Отсоедините вакуумный шланг.

    2. Отсоедините шланг вентиляции картера № 2.

    3. Ослабьте хомут шланга, выверните 2 болта и снимите патрубок подачи воздуха.

  4. REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the starter connector.

    2. Remove the nut and disconnect the starter wire.

    3. Remove the 2 bolts and starter.

  5. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY


    1. Отсоедините датчик положения дроссельной заслонки и разъем электродвигателя привода.

    2. Отсоедините 2 перепускных шланга охлаждающей жидкости.

      Выверните 4 болта и снимите корпус дроссельной заслонки.

    4. Снимите прокладку.

  6. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD

      Disconnect the vacuum hose.

    2. Disconnect the VSV hose and connector for EVAP.

    3. Remove the 5 bolts, 2 nuts, intake manifold and gasket.

  7. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

      Disconnect the sensor connector.

    2. Remove the sensor.

    3. Remove the gasket from the sensor.
